Alma was the sixth of ten children born to Fredrick William 'Fred' and Caroline Henriette 'Lena' (Koethke) Golnick. She married Frederick Clark Platt in 1928 and they had one daughter: Mary Elizabeth.

Memorial service for Alma Pauline Platt, 90-year-old Bellevue resident, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Mrs. Platt died Friday in Kirkland.
She was born August 20, 1897, in Mrytle, Minn., and was raised there. She lived in Butte, Montana from 1927 to 1929, where she met and married Frederick Platt. The Platts moved to Shelby, Montana until 1945, and then to Billings, Montana. Mr. Platt died in 1958, and Mrs. Platt left Billings for Bellevue in 1961 to be near her daughter, Mary E. Bean of Bellevue.
Mrs. Platt enjoyed sewing. She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and VFW Auxiliary of Bellevue.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests rememberences may be made to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Green's Bellevue Funeral Home.
