MRS. ANDREWS PIONEER OPELIKAN DIES AT HOME
Mrs. W. T. Andrews, a lifetime resident of Opelika and widow of a former president of the Farmers National Bank, died at her residence on Avenue A Sunday at the age of 93.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. today from the residence with interment in Rosemere cemetery. Rev. Fletcher McLeod officiated and nephews served as pallbearers.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church and for many years was a teacher in the church's Sunday School.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Walter D. Merry of Augusta, Ga.; several nieces and nephews including Mrs. Fob James of Lanett, Mrs. George Baskerville of Gold Hill and Mrs. Allen Carnes of Columbus, Ga.; several great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers, all great nephews, will be Ben Andrews, Jr., John T. Hamilton, Jr., Paul Major, Fob James, Jr., Bob James and Capt. Robert Lott.
Frederick's was in charge of arrangements.
