MONTICELLO - Mrs. Orma (Rice) Wingard, 83, formerly of Monticello, died at 8 PM Sunday, May 31, 1970, in Ingalls Memorial Hospital, Harvey, IL. She had been a patient there for two weeks and in ill health for several years.

Born in Lincoln, NE, she was married to Joseph O. Wingard in 1905; he died in 1968. Mrs. Wingard was a member of the Monticello Christian Church and Monticello Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Chrisman of Harvey, IL; a son, Arthur Wingard of Los Angeles, CA; a sister Mrs. Pearl Hefner of Monticello; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Service June 3 at Miller Funeral Home, Monticello, the Rev. Maurice Davis officiating; internment at Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.
