MRS. SUSAN ARENSDORF

The funeral of Mrs. Susan Arensdorf was held this morning from the home of her son, Mr. B. Arensdorf, 595 Almond Street, to St. Mary’s Church at 9 o’clock, a mass of requiem being read by the pastor Rev. Fr. Zeyen.

The remains have been interned to Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Grandson of the deceased, Frank, James and Reinhardt J. Arensdorf, Peter, Anthony and Joseph Wirtz, were the pallbearers.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Joseph Wirtz, Nicholas Even and daughter, and Mr. Wirtz all of LaMotte; Mr. and Mrs. John Hickson, Otter Creek: Mesdames P. J. Knipp and F. J. Anbra, Ellenwood, Kansas, Mrs. J. P. Treff, and Miss Mary Koob, Evanston: Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wirtz, Maquoketa: Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Koob, Mrs. Joseph Schwind, Hillard Koob all of Cascade; N. B. Spress, Milwaukee, Willowdale, Kansas; Theodore Ludwig, Zwingle.

1900 census: 11 births, 10 living children

NOTE: There is one child ANNA ARENSDORF that was born in 1874 in St Donatus, Jackson Co., Iowa,. that is unaccounted for.

This former Dubuquer is survived by four daughters; Mrs. M. Wirtz, LaMotte, Mrs. M.F. Bouquet, Dubuque, Mesdames F.J. Andra and P.J. Knipp, Ellinwood, Kansas and four sons, M.B. and J.P. Arensdorf of Dubuque, H.J. and P.G. Arensdorf of Willowdale, Kansas.
