Evanell Byers, 85, of Louisville, died Friday, September 19, 2003, at Masonic Home.
Born in Horse Branch, KY, July 18, 1918, she was the former Evanell Wilson and a member of Dover Chapel General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Genie Long, and nephews, Jerry Wilson (Marlene), Harold Wilson (Barbara) and Kenneth Wilson (Nancy).
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 12-3 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday.
