Thursday morning, Nov. 5th, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. VanHuss and Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Hope of this city, started on an auto trip to Punta Gordo, Florida, where they intended to spend the winter. They stopped enroute at different places and on Wednesday of last week spent a day with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Babcock, a brother of Mrs. VanHuss, they resumed their journey and that morning near Marietta, Georgia, their auto collided with another car and the entire Fulton party were injured. Mrs. VanHuss' injuries were so severe that she died on Saturday morning and Mrs. Hope died on Sunday morning early.

Mrs. VanHuss' remains, accompanied by her husband and relatives arrived Monday and funeral services held from the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon; interment in Mt. Adnah.

Mrs. Hope's body reached Fulton Tuesday morning and the home of her sisters, interment in Mt. Adnah.

Mrs. Lena Babcock VanHuss was born on the Babcock homestead in Volney 52 years ago, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs L Babock, her first husband was Alfred Morehouse who passed away several years ago, leaving two sons and one daughter. One son was in the World war and died and was buried in Brance; the survivors are one son, Carl Morehouse of Phoenix, and one daughter, Mrs Alpheus Wilcox of Fulton.
