Doug was the son of Janie and Frank Mitchell Sr. He was married to Louise Fowler Mitchell, He had four daughters, Patty Guy, Pam Henderson, Kathy Mills, Karen McCarter. His sisters and brother were as follows: Annie Sue Sewell, Barbara (Bobbi Jean) Galloway, Mary (tootsie) Tipton, and Frank (buck) Mitchell. He worked at Union Camp.He was getting ready to retire. He had the days marked on his calendar.He also had 5 grandchildren, Marc Guy, Amy Henderson Sain, Molly Moore Best, Michael Moore, and Callie McCarter. He now has 4 great-grandchildren, Austin and Miranda Guy, and Blake and Jacob Best. Our daddy would have truly enjoyed these grandbabies. He had worked all day on the 11th of Feb. and had come home and had to round up some cows that had gotten out of the fence, when he had a massive heart attack, and died instantly.
