Mrs. Minnie Bange Died Monday Morning At Her Home Here

Funeral Will Be Friday Morning At 9:30 At St. Joseph's Church
Mrs. Minnie Bange, 88, died Monday, Dec. 22, at her home on Lusher Street, where her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Vasser and Mary Jane lived with her.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Widmer and was born in Highland, Ill. on May 13, 1870. At the age of 11 she came to Salisbury with her parents, where she resided until the time of her death.
On April 11, 1893 she was married to Joseph Bange, who preceded her in death on March 13, 1956, and they were the parents' of seven children. Two sons died early in childhood. The Banges' left the farm in the fall of 1944 and moved to the present home of Lusher Street. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Altar Sodality and the Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include five children, Mrs. Joe Roling, Salisbury; Frank Bange, San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Russell Williams, St. Louis; Miss Betty Bange, St. Louis and Mrs. William Vasser; one brother, Ed Widmer of Salisbury; one sister Mrs. Bertha Friederich, St. Louis; eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Rosary was said Thursday night at 8 o'clock and funeral services are to be Friday morning at 9:30 with burial in the St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Riley Watts, Henry Pancoast, Joe Blackwell, Ben Brueggen, Carl Bliefnick and Bill Sturm.
