Mrs. Theresa Kapitz, 93, formerly of 1519 25th Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday afternoon, March 2, 1988 at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, where she had been residing since November.
Funeral services will be 11:30 am Saturday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Greg Smith will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Kapitz was born September 12, 1894 in Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Polzar. She was employed at Hamilton Industries in the office of the printing department. She married Peter E. Becker and he preceded her in death in 1929. She later married William Kapitz and he preceded her in death in 1971. Mrs. Kaptiz was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Lorraine) McCarthy of Fremont, California, Mrs. Elaine Lintereur of Two Rivers and Mrs. Kathryn Seidl of Manitowoc; a sister, Sister Gabriel of Nazareth Heights, Fond du Lac; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers and 1 great grandchild.
Friends may call at St. Luke Church after 10:30 am Saturday. There will be no visitation at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers.
