Herman V. Weber Herman V. "Verlee" Weber, 66, Victoria, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis, Wichita. He was born June 18, 1939, in Victoria to Herman and Anita (Staab) Weber. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He married Karen L. Ellis on May 7, 1960, in Ellis. He was an accountant and spent his lifetime in Victoria. He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Victoria. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Jeff Weber and companion, Judy Link, Plainville, and David Weber, of the home; a daughter, Melinda Rogers, Victoria; his mother, Victoria; three brothers, Lavon Weber and wife, Charlette, and Rich Weber and wife, Diane, both of Victoria, and Mitchell Weber and wife, Julie, Hays; a sister, Robinette Wells and husband, Keith, Kimberling City, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Rosie Weber, Hays; and three grandchildren, Christopher Rogers, Danielle Rogers and Megan Rogers. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Brian Weber. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, with military honors by the Victoria VFW Post 1751.
