Mr. Dunlop, the son of Hugh and Katheryn Dunlop, was born Dec. ?, 1893, in Milan. He married Bernie D. Campbell on March 29, 1913, in Milan.
He was employed as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1957. Later he was employed by the J. I. Case Co., retiring from there in 1959.
Surviving are the widow, six sons, Earl, Galesburg, Harold and Charles, both of Moline, Hugh, Thomasville, N. C., George of Rock Island, and James, Dallas, Tex., a daughter, Mrs. Richard Gritton, Huntington Park, Calif., 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Welch (sic), Rock Island and Mrs. Paul Rhines, ElMonte, Calif.; three half sisters, Mrs. Roe Hall, Jackson, Mich.; Mrs. Lillian Sheppard, Knoxville, and Mrs. Evelyn Schneider, Geneseo.
