Hugh Elbert Dunlop
Mr. Dunlop, 88, of Charlotte, died at Avante of Charlotte, Saturday, June 9, 2007.He was born November 2, 1918 son of the late John and Bernice Dunlop in Molene, Illinois. He was an insurance salesman and he retired from Commonwealth Insurance Company. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his two brothers, Charles and James Dunlop; his sister, Helen Turner; his two granddaughters, Stephanie Graska of Midland, NC and Alyson Kapelar of Charlotte, NC; and a special niece, Beverly Loach of Matthews, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Adele W. Dunlop.
Funeral service for Mr. Dunlop will be held at McEwen Funeral Service Mint Hill Chapel, Friday, June 15, 2007 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
