Gwen Allen of West End, NC and formerly of Hampstead, NC, died Friday, October 23, 2009.
She was born January 10, 1954 the daughter of Sadie Lourine Crisco Shoaf of Lexington, NC and the late Raymond Brent Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Allen.
Surviving are three children, Doris Allen of Conroe, TX, Billy Allen and wife Sandy of Rogers, AR, and Daniel Lee Allen of Wilmington, NC; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Trevor, Sidney Lane, Madison, Terra, Braeli, and Taylor; two brothers, Dary Lewis of Brunswick County, NC, and Ernie Lewis of Hampstead, NC; and her companion, John Warner.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Monday, October 26, 2009 in Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 PM.
