Clarence Gohn, 96, died at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown. He was the husband of Pauline E. (Henise) Gohn, who died on August 10, 2004. Born on July 18, 1908, in Lower Windsor Township, he was the son of the late Harry and Elsie (Schlag) Gohn. He retired in 1984 as a lift truck driver for the House of Windsor Cigar Company. Clarence was a member of the Yorkana Fire Company and he loved to work in his garden. He is survived by two granddaughters, Donna Wakefield and her husband, Keith of Wrightsville, and Denise Raab of Thomasville; one great-grandson, Joshua Wakefield; and a niece, Mary Anne Kiser of Seven Valleys. He was predeceased by a daughter, Esther Raab. Funeral Friday, at Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, York, Right Rev. Barry E. Yingling, CSSS, Chaplain of the Brunswick at Longstown, officiating. Burial in Mount Rose Cemetery. [York Daily Record]
