A man named John CLARK was killed today in the quarry of Albert Manufacturing Co. He was in company with another man engaged in drilling rock for blasting at a height of about 20 feet. Some rock from from
above them came rolling down, when Clark, in attempting to escape, lost his balance and fell to the bottom. He lived a very few minutes after the fall. His remains were brought out to Hillsboro on the engine and thence conveyed to his home. He leaves a wife and several small children.
