Mrs. May Frances Arnold Brock, 69, died December 25, 1989 at St. Francis Hospital, in Memphis, Tenn.
Daughter of the late Robert Lee and Pearl Thomas Arnold, she was born May 1, 1920 in Crockett County, Tenn.
She was a member of the Braggadocio (Mo.) Baptist Church and a homemaker.
On January 9, 1943 she married Dow Brock at Caruthersville, Mo. He preceded her in death.
She leaves three sons: A.J. Brock of Montrose, Mich., Larry Brock of Crane, Mo., and Bobby Brock of Oxnard, Calif.; four daughters: Magaline Owens of Clio, Mich., Laverne Altman of East St. Louis, Ill., Elaine Pennington of St. Louis, Mo., and Margaret Tipps of Dyersburg, Tenn.; three brothers: Doyle Arnold of Tuscumbia, Ala.; Harold Arnold of Demopolis, Ala., and Billy Arnold of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Betty Guziak, of Little Rock, Ark.; 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bill Luttrell from Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele, Mo., Thursday, December 28, 1989, 2:00 p.m.
Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, with arrangements by Bradshaw German-Aumon Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Paul Arnold, Mike Arnold, Bobby DeBerry, Daniel Pennington, David Pennington, and Thomas DeBerry.
