Mrs. Stone was a long-time resident of the Beaumont area and was co-owner of Tide Meat Packing Company. She served as Past President of the American Business Women's Association, was two-time Woman of the Year and a member of their Hall of Fame.
Mrs. Stone is survived by her son, Dale Lee Cudd; grandson, Kyle Knupple, 2 great-grandchildren; her brother, John T. Kane Jr. and her sister, Irene Merchant and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale H. Stone; daughters, Deborah K. Rowden and Dee Ann Knupple; sisters, Gloria Kersh and Annabelle Nicar and brother, Donald Teddy Kane.
Interment: Hooks Cemetery off Hwy 69, Kountze, TX.
