Final Rites Held For Floyd Aiken
Rites were held this afternoon at 2 oclock for Floyd L. Aiken, 69 years old, who died Monday at his home in Williamsville. Mr. Aiken conducted an optical store at 77 Webater street for the past eight years and had attained a wide acquaintanceship in the Tonawandas.
The services were conducted at the Late residence. Burial was in Forest Lawn, Buffalo.
Born in Warsaw, NY. Mr. Aiken had resided in Williamsville for the past 27 years. He was engaged in the optical business in Buffalo prior to coming to
North Tonawanda to open a store.
He had been in failing health since last October, but had been able to visit his store almost daily until Tuesday of last week.
He leaves a wife, Winifred, a daughter, Mrs. George T. Mickelson, and a son Donald C., all of Williamsville.
