She was a longtime member of Westside Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School worker, and Youth Department leader.
Preceded in death by her mother, Alice Weaver Carroll and grandparents, Woodard and Tressie Weaver.
She is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Charles Ballard; sons, Timothy Ballard, Jeffrey Ballard and wife Linda, and Christopher Ballard; grandchildren, Brandon and Christopher Hudgins; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Hudgins and Emily Glover; sisters, Michelle Porter and Sherry Carroll; brother, Aric Carroll; father, Sterling Carroll; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Rose Mortuary officiated by Reverend Josh Greene. Family and friends will meet at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 3:30 p.m. interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Westside Baptist Church, 1524 Vermont Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921 or to the family in memory of Angela.
