Born in South Mountain, a village of Dundas, Ontario, Canada to Alexander and Laura Northrup Martin. She moved to the USA with her parents when she was 10 years old. She was married to Luther (Lewis) Northrup at Bucks Bridge and they lived in Morley, NY. They had five sons and two daughters. Funeral was at the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Morley with Rev. Arthur O. Northrup officiating. She was buried in the Morley Cemetery.
