Graveside service for Joseph Melvin Browne, 82, of Emmett, Idaho, who died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at a local care center will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at the Emmett Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel, Emmett.
He was born on April 14, 1931, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to John and Josie Peterson Browne. He married Jean Ward in November of 1953. He enjoyed the outdoors and farming.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean and sons Jay, Larry and Terry.
He is survived by his children, Sherrie and Greg Stewart, Joann and Joe Rohrbacker, Dianne and Jeff Wilkerson, Doug and Becky Browne and Bob and April Browne; and 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
