Mrs. Margaret Gettle, nee McMann, 252 S. Tenth St., died this morning at the Lebanon Sanatorium. Death was attributed to complications after an illness of six months. Mrs. Gettle was the widow of Edwin Gettle, Sr.. She was 63 years of age and was a member of 7th St. Lutheran Church. Surviving are seven daughters Mrs. Warren Wenrich, Mrs. Paul Kindt, Mrs. George Gingrich, Mrs. Elsie Miller, Mrs. Dorothy Spancake, Mrs. John Kovach and Miss Marguerite Gettle, all of Lebanon; four sons, Leroy Gettle, Coatesville, George Gettle, Cleona, William Gettle, Lebanon and Edwin, Jr. of Kimmerlings; 33 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. George Irwin, Lebanon and a brother, John C. McKinney. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Gettle, nee McMann, widow of Edwin Gettle, of 252 S. Tenth St., were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, from the Rohland Parlors. Full services were conducted by the Rev. E. A. Chamberlin, pastor of 7th. St. Lutheran Church. Interment was made in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The bearers were sons-in-law; Paul Kindt, Warren Wenrich, George Gingrich, Bruce Spancake, John Kovach and Theodore Miller. [Lebanon Daily News]
