Mrs. Isabelle Gibson Paris, 68, died Sunday in local hospital. She was a native of Halifax County, and longtime resident of Rocky Mount. She was a member of the North Rocky Mount Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Theodore R. Paris; two daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Donaldson and Mrs. Sonja Adcox, both of Rocky Mount; two sons, Melvin L. Paris of Rocky Mount and Basil T. Paris of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four sisters, Miss Carrie Gibson and Mrs. Helen Rackley, both of South Boston, Va., Mrs. Bessie Clary of Roanoke Rapids, Mrs. Thelma Manguerra of Portsmouth, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home by Ross Moyer. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery. Friends may call at the home, 7 Spring St., or at the funeral home.
