Lee J. Ullery
Lee J. Ullery, 69, of Route 13 in Morgantown, died Thursday, April 23, 1987, at his home.
Born Aug. 7, 1917 in Steyer, Md., he was a son of the late Charles and Lenora Mae Iman Ullery.
He was a retired maintenance foreman for Pursglove 15 mine where he worked for 42 years. He attended the Drummond Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of the UMWA local 2122.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma VanMeter (Carr) Ullery; three daughters, Ms. Nancy Booth and Mrs. Rudolph (Rosemary) Dluhy, both of Route 13, and Mrs. John D. (Betty Anne) Miller of Route 1; one son, William B. Ullery of Morgantown; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, James Whetsell of Cassville; four sisters, Ms. Lavena (Buzz) Ammons of Cassville, Mrs. Nicholas (Merle) Luzier of Sanford, Fla., Mrs. John (Ruby) Renner of Granville and Mrs. Robert (Nina) Boyers of Anna Maria, Fla.
He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call at the William McCulla Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Daniel B. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
