Peter Linsky, 82, of Harmony Township, NJ, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Easton Hospital. Born: On April 6, 1926, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Peter Linsky Jr. and Catherine Bogusky Marish. He was the husband of the former AnneMarie Seip.

Peter was an electrician for 36 years with J.T. Baker Chemical, Phillipsburg. He served with the Merchant Marines during World War II and with the Army during the Korean Conflict. Peter was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Fleas Club. Peter was a longtime member of the Harmony Township Fire Co.

In addition to his wife AnneMarie, he is survived by two children, Karen E. Linsky of Cuddebackville, NY and Donald P. Linsky and his wife Michele of Bethlehem, Pa; a sister, Mary Ann DiVittorio of Phillipsburg; a brother, Steven Marish of Fairfax, Va, and two granddaughters, Dana and Marisa Linsky.

The funeral will begin on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township, Pa. Memorials: Donations may be made to the Harmony Township Fire Co., 440 Brainards Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
