Joseph T. Brunner, 50, of 210 N. Park Ave., died at 1:40 a.m. today at Veterans Hospital, Wood.
He was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Meeme, Manitowoc County, a son of Frank and Mary Bogenschuetz Brunner.
He never married.
Mr. Brunner was employed by Badger Breeders of Shawano for several years. He was a veteran of World War II where he served with the U.S. Army in Germany. He was a member of Catholic Knights Branch 109 at St. Nazianz.
Surviving are his father with whom he resided; four brothers, Martin of Brillion, Adrian of Valders, Anton of New Holstein and William of Janesville; and three sisters, Mrs. Arvin Dehne of Newton, Mrs. Laurence Krauss of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Victor Lallensach of Manitowoc.
His mother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at noon at St. Patrick’s Church. The Rev. Edward Sippel will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Funeral services for Joseph T. Brunner, 210 N. Park Ave., who died Thursday at Veterans Hospital, Wood, were held at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Zacherl Funeral Home and at noon at St. Patrick’s Church. The Rev. Sippel officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Donald and David Brunner, James and Arvin Dehne, Robert Krauss and Michael Bihss.
Graveside military rites were conducted by the American Legion Trier-Puddy Post 75 Firing Squad.
Joseph Karst and Clarence Fenner were color bearers; Elmer Root and Henry Rucks, color guard; Charles Nowak, bugler; Andrew Johnson, Robert Jantz, Martin Weyer, Bernard Maloney, John Pitas, John Wacynski, Tage Swanson and Arthur Mossong, firing squad; and Edson Stubbs, commander.
