Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Wieting Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rev. Raymond Dowling will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville.
Mr. Brunner was born March 4, 1912, at Osman, son of the late Frank and Mary Boganschutz Brunner. He was a veteran of World War II. He married Lillian Kubale Feb. 16, 1952, at Reedsville. He was employed at Brillion Iron Works until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Becker-Bloedorn-Jensen American Legion Post No. 126 of Brillion.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, David and Mark, at home; two step-sons, Robert Long, of Manitowoc and Bruce Long, of Sheboygan Falls; a step-daughter, Mrs. Sheldon (Mary) Watzka, of Sheboygan; three brothers, Adrian, of Valders, Anton, of New Holstein and William, of Prairie du Sac: three sisters, Mrs. Arvin Dehne, of Newton, Mrs. Victor Lallensack, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Lawrence Krauss, of Fond du Lac and 12 grandchildren. A daughter and three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Wieting Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday until the time of service. A wake service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday.
