He is survived by two sons, Randal Slaton of Fort Eustis, Va., and Jim Slaton of Cape Coral, Fla.; one daughter, Phyllis Kastanas of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren, April Dowdy and Stephanie Partain, both of Harrisburg, Frank Slaton of Newport News Va. and Cynthia Rodasky of Chugiak, Alaska; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was proceded in death by three brothers, Harry Slaton, Chris Church and Quillard Slaton, and three sisters, Della Davis, Gladys McClusky and Bea Clark.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 1999 at J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Rev. Clifford Clark will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
