Mrs. Elizabeth Ratzer died at her home. 2110 East Thirty-third street, Kansas City, Tuesday. Mrs. Ratzer is well known in Moberly and this vicinity where she and her husband lived for many years. Her husband, Oswald Ratzer, is remembered by residents of Moberly as a man of individuality and one who kept himself much before the public by his business ventures. At one time he conceived the idea of putting up a ten story hotel and business house on the site occupied by the Jennings Building, corner of Williams and Reed streets.

Mrs. Ratzer was his loyal companion throughout their married life. Some time ago she suffered a paralytic stroke, which resulted in her death. She was 58 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Oswald; a daughter, Mrs. C.T. Blackwell; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Day, Mrs. Lucy Whitmore, Mrs. M.J. Murphy,. Mrs. Frederick Dewert and Mrs. Frank Berg; and three brothers, William, George and Amos Mathieu.
