Sylvania –Jeanette Taylor Boyd, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at her residence in Sylvania. She was born in Screven County, was retired from Torrington Co., where she was a lab tech. and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Albert Doris & Lucille Brower Taylor; Sister: Barbara Ann Taylor.
Survivors: Husband: J. Carol Boyd of Sylvania; Daughter and Son-In-Law: Janice B. & Richard Morss of Sylvania; Sister: Marjorie T. Cannon of Sylvania; 2 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Services: Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Karen Zeigler and Exodyne Johnson officiating.
Remembrances: Ogeechee Area Hospice, P O Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
