Mrs. Lucille Brower Taylor, 79, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at Syl-View Health Care Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Scarborough and Carlton Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Taylor, a native of Screven County, had retired from Torrington Co. as a bearing instructor. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette T. Byrd and Marjorie T. Cannon, both of Sylvania; three brothers, Lee H. Brower, Sylvania, Alton Brower, Atlanta, and Edward Brower, Augusta; four sisters, Mary B. Callison, Carolyn B. Johnson, Exodyne B. Overstreet and Ruth B. Bazemore, all of Sylvania; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Kenneth Brower, Russell Brower, Tim Callison, Jerry Callison, Al Overstreet and Todd Bazemore.
