Mr. DeHaven retired from the Air Force as a senior master sergeant in 1970 after 25 years. He also served in the Army Air Corps for four years. Mr. DeHaven served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
Mr. DeHaven was a Postal Service clerk at the Medford branch from 1971 until his retirement in 1986.
Survivors: his wife, Rita; two sons, Richard of Aurora, Calif., and Charles J. 3d of Lafayette, Colo.; two daughters, Patricia Hadden of Moorestown and Margaret Gerke of Maple Shade, and five grandchildren.
Services: viewing, 6 to 8 p.m. today, Goes Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro; funeral, 8 p.m. today at the funeral home; military burial service, 10 a.m. tomorrow, Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
