Died at Hospital
Mr. S. C. Yancy one of the pioneer citizens of this section died last night at the hospital and is being buried at the Stigler cemetery as this paper goes to press.
The deceased leaves several children grown to manhood and womanhood who have the sympathy of the entire community.
Died before 1910 as his wife was living as a widow with her daughter Estell Winton (Lily) on the 1910 census in Taloka, Haskell, OK.
Son of Mary Frances Fitzpatrick Yancy and Francis M Yancy.
Husband of Sarah A Malinda West Yancy. Married 12/23/1874 in POLK,GEORGIA, daughter of JAMES WEST. She was born March 1855 in GEORGIA.
They had the following children:
Stephen C.(Bud) Yancy, William O "Willy" Yancy, Oscar William Yancy, Lily E Yancy, Elmer Reese Yancy, Luther M Yancy, Marietta Yancy, Henry P Yancy.
