GEORGE PIERCE GRIFFIN
CALDWELL-- George Pierce
Griffin, 91 of 609 Fillmore
street, a longtime resident of
Caldwell,died early Saturday
morning inhis home.

Mr. Griffin was born Sept. 15
1868, in Benton county, Ind., and
was reared in Iowa. He was married
March 7, 1892, in Casey, Iowa, to
Adaline C. Theurer and they moved to
Oregon in 1902 and came to Caldwell
in 1910. He helped build the Union
Pacific depot here and was a carpenter
on the construction of several of the
College of Idaho buildings.

Surviving are a son, Elbert Griffin of
Wilder; six daughters, Mrs. May Wilson
of Yakima, Wash. Mrs. Grace Walradt of
Pocatello, Mrs. Blanche Brooks of Caldwell,
Mrs. Hazel Emerson of Boise, Mrs. Nellie
Judd of Portland, and 14 grandchildren, 31
great grandchildren and 5 great great
grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at the Peckham-
Daken-Davis chapel Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The
Rev. Kenneth Armstrong will officate. Internment
will be at Canyon Hill.
