Danny Tello, 50, of Lockhart, Texas, died in a tragic motorcycle accident on Thursday, August 4, 2005.

Danny was born on September 10, 1954, in Lockhart to Rosendo and Modesta Tello. He graduated from Del Valle High School in 1973, and served in the Navy from 1973 to 1976. Danny worked for the City of Austin for 22 years and was preparing for retirement next year.

Danny is survived by his parents, Rosendo and Modesta Tello, of Austin; brother, Rosendo Tello, Jr., of Austin; four children, Elisha (Mark) Tenorio, of Kyle, Michelle Tello (Jesus), of Kyle, Daniel Tello, Jr. (Araceli) and James Tello, of Lockhart. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Breanna, and Brittany Tenorio and Jason and Daniel Tello; grandmother, Juanita Tello; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

There are no words to describe the void we will all have in our hearts from this day forward. Danny was the life of every gathering. His presence was always known and his laugh was so contagious. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Inez Hernandez, Jr., Joe Ruiz, Wilfredo Navarro, Chris Gonzales, Jose Rodriguez, Jr., Juan Saenz, Frank Gamez, and Manuel Gutierrez.

Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, August 7 and Monday, August 8, 2005 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 9, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin. Interment will follow at St. Mary s Cemetery in Lockhart, Texas.
