Elizabeth lived a life of service, was a hard worker and lived a very long life and beloved by many. At her passing she was outlived by both of her children, many grand children and great grand children and great great grandchildren.

Salt Lake City--Elizabeth "Besse" Duke Duncan, age 98, passed away at home March 30, 1987.
Born January 1 1889 at Wallsburg, Utah to Ethan Allen and Martha Jane Parcell Duke. Married John LeRoy Duncan, October 10, 1917, San Francisco, California; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church, and was a faithful contributor to her community. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed by all.
Survivors: Son, John L Duncan, Bountiful; daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) and Lamont Gardner, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 1987 at 1:00 pm at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 2nd Eastc where friends may call Wednesday 6-8pm and Thursday one hour prior to service. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
