Ruby Albright Hayes, age 84, formerly of Zoo Parkway, Asheboro died Monday, July 12, 2004 at Arbor Acres United Methodist Retirement Community, Winston-Salem.

Mrs. Hayes was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation. She was a member of First E&R United Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Craven Hayes.

She is survived by sons & their wives, Stephen & Dianne Hayes of Winston-Salem, NC; David & Charly Hayes of Wilson, NC; Larry & Nelle Hayes of Vanceboro, NC; grandchildren, Suzanne Hayes-Foutty of Winston-Salem, NC; Lt. Joshua Hayes of Virginia Beach, VA; Christi Hayes Quinn of Roanoke, VA; Brent Hayes of Winston-Salem, NC; Amanda Hayes of Vanceboro, NC; Brian Hayes of Wilmington, NC; Jackson Hayes of Vanceboro, NC; great grandchildren, Chris Quinn of Roanoke, VA; Andrew Foutty of Winston- Salem, NC; Taylor Quinn of Roanoke, VA; Luci Hayes of Virginia Beach, VA; sister: Mozelle Stout of Ramseur, NC; brothers: Guy Albright of Asheboro, NC and J.L. Albright of Sierra Madre, CA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Parrish officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
