ASHEBORO - Ralph C. Hayes, 77, of Zoo Parkway died Saturday, Dec. 16, 1995, at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. B.J. Willett. Entombment will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Randolph County, he was a member of First E&R United Church of Christ, retired from sears after 25 years and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors are wife, Mrs. Ruby Albright Hayes, sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Dianne Hayes of Winston-Salem, David and Charlene Hayes of Wilson, Larry and Nell Hayes of Vanceboro; sister, Jacksie Hayes and Doris Hayes, both of Asheboro; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. tonight at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro.
