UTICA — Stanley L. McCollum, 66, of Utica died May 15, 2004, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 11, 1938, in Jacksonberg, W.Va., to James R. and Olive (Green) McCollum. He was retired from Newark Air Force Base and the Ohio National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Edith McCollum; three sons, Stephen (Elaine) McCollum of Utica, Christopher (Teresa) McCollum of Newark and Randall (Amanda) McCollum of Columbus; two daughters, Jennifer (William) Thomas of Fredericktown and Kimberly Rizer of Newark; 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Preston McCollum of Mount Vernon, Dean McCollum of Utica and Joseph McCollum of Newark; and three sisters, Ruth Barber of Centerburg, Bonnie Mechling of Utica and Marjorie Billman of Zanesville.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, June Bartenschlag.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica, where funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. The Revs. Alan Pratt and Warren Noblick are officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio , 1984-A Coffman Road, Newark 43055.
