Honorary Founding President of Mozarteum Argentino who dedicated her life to cultural activity. Since 1955, she chairs the Mozarteum Argentino, a private non-profit organization, which aims to disseminate musical culture at all levels. Under her leadership, the Mozarteum Argentino has become the most important musical partnership and effective, not only at home but throughout Latin America. She began to cultivate important relationships with foreign musicians who visited Buenos Aires, who then invited to her home. The Mozarteum began to organize concerts in museums like the Museum Isaac Fernández Blanco (former Palace Noel) and the National Museum of Decorative Art (former Palace Errázuriz-Alvear) but with little ability to the public, until that on 1960 with the arrival of Igor Stravinsky, began renting the Teatro Colón. Just came to Argentina in 1965, the Vienna Philharmonic, and was the beginning of the arrival of the most important orchestras, ballet and opera singers sponsored by the Mozarteum. During all those years at the helm of the Mozarteum, she received the following international decorations: OAS: Diploma of Honor, Washington, 1991, Italy: Knight and Commander of the Order of Merit, Gold Medal for Italian Culture in Argentina, 2000; Chile: Officer of the Order of Bernardo O'Higgins, the Association Beethoven Medal, Brazil; Cruzeiro do Sul Order, Officer and Commander; France; Order of Merit, Academic Palms, Knight of the Legion of Honor, Officer of the Legion of Honor and Cross Officer of Arts and Letters, Austria: Order of Merit Order of Merit Silver and Gold Medal Nikolai (it was delivered personally by Karl Böhm, then director of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra when he came to Argentina in 1965), Golden Badge of Merit of the Federal Province of Salzburg, Order of Merit, Degree of Commander Silver, Large Gold Medal of Merit and the Order of Honor and Merit, Gold, Land Wien, Golden Order of Merit Government of the City of Vienna, Grand Cross of Honour for Arts and Sciences, the Government of Austria, Medal "Mozart" of silver, Germany: Order of Merit Order of Merit Gold and Silver; Portugal: Order of Henry I the Navigator; Ecuador: National Order of Merit in the rank of Commander. Russia: paper greeting for the 50th anniversary of the Mozarteum Argentino the Minister of Culture of the Federation. Sovereign Order of Malta, Dame of Magistral Grace, Laurel and Silver River Plate Award 2002 the Rotary Club International. She was also decorated in Argentina: San Martin de Tours Award of Merit (1985 - 1988), Prize "Manzana de las Luces" by the Chamber of Advertisers; Konex Platinum by Konex Foundation; "Cultural Action of the Year Award" 1990 by AICA, Special Award Statuette Saint Clare of Assis (1991), Prize "propel Merit for Argentina culture," Romulo Raggio Foundation (1995), Personality Emeritus of Culture by Presidency of the Nation (1998), Senator of Lights (for her career in the World of Culture) of the National Commission of the Manzana de las Luces (1998); she was also Academic of the Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI), and member of its Executive Committee, which gave her a Gold Medal for Culture.
The Mozarteum has established the "Scholarship Jeannet Arata de Erize" for chamber music and young talent.
