Florence Alford, 104, of Danielson Pike died Friday at the Waterman Heights Nursing Home, Smithfield.
She was the widow of Frank Alford.
Born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England, a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth A. (Kearsley) Morton, she lived in Scituate for 34 years. She previously lived in Newport.
Mrs. Alford worked for the Juilliard Manufacturing Co., Olneyville, for 10 years befor retiring in 1935.
She was a member of the Daughters of St. George and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
