Sara's first husband was ?? Polk. They had a son Dewey Ronald Polk. "Dynamite" was her second husband, and apperently she had a 3rd last name Buffington. She also had a daughter, Lynn Stanfield whom she and Dynamite adopted from her sister Ruby. Lynn preceded her mother in death and was survived by her daughter Marcy.

She was oldest child of William James and Connie Mae Purmort Barnes. Other siblings were John Paul Barnes; Ira "Buck" Barnes; Irene Barnes; Ruby Barnes; Myrtle Barnes; Benjamin O Barnes; and Maggie Mae Barne (AKA Peggy Mae Stone)
Ira and Irene were twins and Maggie was adopted to William Claude and Ida Thomason Stone of LaGrange GA when she was approximately 2 years old.

I know this is a lot of info, but thought I would share some of the family connections before they get lost to time and fading memories.
Thanks for helping to take care of my family's heritage.
