Dead Milwaukee Police Officer Former Reedsville Man
William Krueger of Reedsville, died at Milwaukee Sunday, aged 35 and the body will be buried at Brillion Tuesday.
Deceased was the son of Alto Krueger of Reedsville. He had made his home at Milwaukee for some years, residing at 515 National Avenue. Krueger was for years a member of the Cream City police force and retired three years ago on account of failing health. Several years ago he was shot and severely wounded in making the arrest of three hold-up men. Krueger was shot in the neck and for a time his life was dispaired of. During the past eighteen months he had been in California. He was known in this city.
