Leroy was a kind and gentle man who loved his family and friends, and went out of his way to "do" for others. He was especially loved by the children who visited the farm - he always had time to show them everything from the milking parlor to where the new kittens were hidden. He is greatly missed by those who had the chance to share his life.
He was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church (MO Synod), where he is buried, and veteran of the US Army, having served in Korea.
