Emil F. Wiegand, 51, died last night at the Holy Family hospital Manitowoc, where he had been confined since December, 1938. Born July 7, 1888, he was a resident of Brillion his entire life.
Survivors are one brother, Oscar, Brillion and two half-brothers, August and Charles Ziebell, Manitowoc.
The remains were brought to Brillion and the body lay in state at the Luecker Funeral home form where the services were held Wednesday at the the Trinity Lutheran church, the Rev. Martin Sauer conducting. Six nephews of the deceased were pallbearers and interment was in the Brillion village cemetery.
