The Derrick, Wednesday, Nov 16 1966:
Herman L. Renninger, 64, of Kaneville, died at 1:48 pm Tuesday in the Oil City Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born April 28, 1902 at Reeds Run, son of Hugh and Cora Whitten Renninger.

He lived in Kaneville most of his life, worked for Oil City Glass Co. for 19 years before his retirement 6 years ago.

He married the former Irene Bradybaugh of Muzette, on Oct. 5, 1929 and she survives, with children Mrs. Kenneth (Minnie) Reynolds, Mrs. Jack (Elsie) Tarr and Mrs. Earl (Hazel) Winters of Frewsburg, NY; Hayes Leroy Renninger and Mary Renninger of Titusville RD#3; Mrs. Robert (Joan) Alsbaugh of Lake City; Mrs. Fernando (Edith) Vega, Ralph Renninger, Everett Renninger and Janet Renninger of North East; brothers and sisters Mrs. Norman(Tillie) Alabaugh and Paul (Boyd) Renninger of Kaneville; Reuben, Floyd, Frank, Harvey, Jack and Mrs. Charles (Florence) Daly of Titusville RD#3, Mrs. Betty Burchard of Cooperstown, Mrs. Gene (Rose) Brannon of Polk RD, Mrs. Percy (Mary) White of Warren, MI; and 13 grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
