Mrs. Anna Thomas, 55, of 515 S. Meadow St., died Sunday, Mar. 5, 1950, in Memorial Hospital, following a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Verne Thomas; a son, Gene Thomas of Sayre, PA; a daughter, Mrs. Roger Armstrong of Newfield; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy of Sayre, PA; four brothers, Xavier and Vincent Crowley of Waverly, Leo Crowley of Sayre, PA, and Frank Crowley of Pittston, PA, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home followed by a High Mass of Requiem in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Hayts Cemetery. Friends may call at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Thomas of 515 S. Meadow St., who died Mar. 5, 1950, were held at 8:30 a.m. today at her home, followed by a High Mass of Requiem in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, with the Rev. James F. Baker as celebrant. Bearers were John Rivers, Kenneth Fauls, Edward Thomas, Joseph McSparon, James Crowley and Mark Murphy. Burial was in Hayts Cemetery where the Rev. John S. Maloney said the prayers at the grave.
