Age 74, daughter of the late Elmer A. and Edna O. Johnson Anderson, and had lived in Erie the past 23 years.
Mrs. Hopson had lived in Warren, Pa., for a number of years and had worked as an inspector at the Sylvania Company there for 24 years before retiring. Her husband and she also had done volunteer work at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Anderson; and a sister, Connie Owens.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Hopson; a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Carol) Winterburn of Jamestown, N.Y.; two stepdaughters, Joyce Hopson and Mrs. Eddie (Judith) Rushing, both of Panama City, Fla.; two grandchildren, Scott and Amy Winterburn; two stepgrandchildren, David Wedzik and Brian Biletnikoff; and a great-granddaughter.
Burial was at Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
