He married Catherine on September 30, 1959 at St Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. They had three children. Kenneth died July 11, 1962 when his youngest child was only 5 months old.

GREEN BAY - Kenneth Blahnik, 23, a native of Manitowoc County, was instantly killed at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday when his car crashed through a guard rail on Highways 29-32 about two miles west of here. His neck was broken as his car plunged through the guard rail on a road leading to Pamperin Park, flipped over and slid 25 feet down an
embankment to another road below.
