LOGAN - Ray A. Morgan Sr., 93, of Logan, died unexpectedly Friday evening at his home. He was born June 6, 1893, at New Matamoras, son of the late Samuel and Mary Wilcoxen Morgan. He retired after 40 years at Chartirers Oil Co. and was a former elder of South Logan Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Middie Estep Riggs; three sons, Dick, Jack and Ray Morgan Jr., all of Logan; six daughters, Mrs. Hollis (Gail) Freemon of Logan, Irene Kennison of Safety Harbor, Fla, Mrs. Bernard (Madge) Euman and Mrs. Bill (Betty) Jone, both of New Lexington, Mrs. David (Geneieve) Jones of Warren and Mrs. Leonard (Joan) Chevalier of Crooksville; three stepsons, two stepdaughters; a sister, Alice Clark of Safety Harbor, Fla; 41 grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren, and several great and great-great greandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. at South Logan Church of Christ by Reverends Blaine Hescht and Steve Nolan. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
